Overcoming Spiritual Bankruptcy

Ephesians 2:1-7

Ephesians 2:1-32 And you were dead in your trespasses and

sins, 2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world,

according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the

sons of disobedience. 3 Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh,

indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath,

even as the rest.

Romans 3:23

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 5:12

12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death

through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned—

Romans 12:2

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good

and acceptable and perfect.

Ephesians 6:12

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,

against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the

spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

2nd Corinthians 4:3-4

3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 in whose case the god of this world has

blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the

gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Jesus, 7 so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His

grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
