2015 VBS Registration - St. Mark’s is excited to host Camp Discovery VBS this summer from

9:00am to noon, Monday through Thursday, June 22-25. Mrs. Shea Pollom and the Vacation Bible School committee are planning a wonderful experience for children age 4 and older, including programming for younger children of adult volunteers. At Camp Discovery, kids have fun as they explore the Bible, make new friends, sing songs, and learn how Jesus works through them in their everyday lives. Campers discover Bible truths that excite and challenge them. Jesus, our True North, gives them the wisdom and the courage to step out in faith and serve—whether they’re at school, playing with friends, or helping out at home.

Register campers at stmarks-sa.org/#/formation-ministries/2015-vbs.

Please remember to mail in the suggested fee of $25 per child with a family cap of $50. (St Mark’s, 315 East Pecan St, 78205)

-----------------------

VBS IS LOOKING FOR SNACKS! -Are you interested in helping make St. Mark's Vacation Bible

School a success but don't have the time and/or energy to be here all week? Please consider donating snacks for our volunteers. We would like to provide a snack bar for all of our helpers to enjoy throughout the week and would appreciate goodies such as muffins, breakfast tacos, granola bars, fruit, drinks, etc. To sign up, please contact Gail Jackins by email at([email protected]) or Shea Pollom ([email protected]). Thank you!

-----------------------

service to children who attend Camp Capers on scholarship and have difficulty purchasing items they’ll need for their week in Comfort, TX (or who run out during their week). Please bring items to the 2nd floor of our parish house by June 22. Our young people will organize them during the week of VBS - the items will be a blessing to other children. Suggested items are : Bibles, twin bedding or sleeping bags, pillow cases, pajamas, socks, child-size water shoes, shampoo, soap, deodorant, combs and brushes, towels and wash cloths, sunscreen, flashlights with new batteries, toothbrushes, bug spray, extra blankets. Thank you!
