Now, Verb + what /whom ? =
So, the verb which has an object or objects is called a Transitive Verb.
object
And the verb which has no object is called anIntransitive Verb.
The farmer is ploughing his fields.
Ploughing + what ? = his field / Object
A parrot is sitting in the branch of a tree.
sitting + what ? = no answer / no object
