Relationship of Members with Industry

“It is my duty to remind you that the American College of Cardiology (ACC) maintains official policies on relationships of members with industry with respect to participation in all meetings of ACC Committees or Task Forces. I have a copy of your current statement from the College file. If your statement contained a Disclosure Form identifying an industry relationship as defined by ACC, and this Committee/Task Force takes under consideration today a matter where that relationship would apply, you should absent yourself and not participate in the discussion for its duration.”

Our basis: The National Strategic Plan has set out focus areas and goals for the College for the next 5 years

Our strength: Chapters are where the plan’s ideas will take shape – our goals must align with the plan in order to…

Our mission: …reach our mission of transforming cardiovascular care and improving heart health (through the Triple Aim, as the professional home for the CV team)

Why Should Chapter Goals Align with the

Strategic Plan?

2. How can we best communicate the plan?

3. What should be our priority in the first year of the plan?
