Holy Communion: Members in good standing with LC-MS congregations are invited to participate in communion. Members of other Christian churches should speak with Pastor before communing here. Worshippers who are not communing are welcome to come the communion rail for a blessing from Pastor, taking one of the crosses in the center aisle. For those unable to take the bread and wine for medical or personal reasons, grape juice and gluten free wafers are available in the center aisle.

SCRIP News: We will continue to carry a limited number of Cash and Carry gift cards all through sum-mer available for purchase in the Atrium at the front desk, Monday-Friday 8:00am till 3:00pm. Our schedule is June 29th; July 13th and 27th. We will resume our weekly schedule on August 10th. Gift cards are ordered on Monday morning, are available for pick up at the front desk by Wednesday at 3:00pm. We thank you for supporting such a valuable fundraiser and helping worthy students in our Trinity Scholarship Fund!

Going on a Trail Ride: ready to get out, stretch your legs, and see some beautiful trails? Clean up your bike and mark your calendar for July 12th. We will meet at the Summit Street Trailhead at 5:00PM and ride as far as the trail will allow. Bring water and money for a treat if we can find a spot to enjoy near Lincoln Hwy. Grief Share: Trinity will offer Grief Share again for those who have lost a loved one and are going through the grieving process. Everyone is welcome. Pastor Matt will be the facilitator. The 13 week support group begins August 18th from 7:00pm-8:30pm here at the church. The first session will deal with the loss of a spouse. The last session will be: ‘Surviving the Holidays.’ To register, or if you have questions, please call the church office at 219-663-1578.

God is Greater than our Highs & Lows: We are planning a one day VBS event on Saturday, July 25th. Just two weeks ago! Please go to www.trinitycp.org and select the VBS tab to register your child(ren) or to volunteer that day. God is greater than our highs and lows! VBS NEEDS: 1) We need card-board! If you have the chance to cut it to 15” by 5” that would be great, but if not, we can take care of that! Please bring your cardboard to the atrium this week if possible! 2) There is a sign up on the atri-um counter for goldfish crackers (individual packages), 12 oz. water bottles, popsicles, bubbles, and chalk. If you are able or willing to donate any of these item, we would be grateful! Please pray for those participating in VBS!

New High School Bible Study: Our country is in the midst of unrest due to racial inequality, among oth-er issues. The youth of our congregation are aware of this and they have strong feelings. We want to see what God's Word has to say about this. Starting today, all Sr. High youth (those recently con-firmed through recent HS graduates) are invited to participate in a six-session Bible study over Zoom called "One Nation Under God: Healing Racial Divides in America" by Rev. Keith Haney. Each Sunday session will begin at 12:30pm. Join Our Team: Trinity Lutheran School is looking to fill the following part time positions for the 2020-2021 school year: Athletic Director, Preschool Aide, Childcare Aide. If you have a desire to serve in any of these capacities, or would like more information, please contact Prin-cipal Christine Miller at millerc@trinitycp.org or 219-663-1578.

Faith Build: Trinity is working with Habitat for Humanity to build a home in Gary among sev-eral other faith build homes! Work teams of up to 8 are needed for work days (need to be 18+) and others can provide lunch (for 15 people). Work days are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Trinity's work days are scheduled for July 23rd, 24th, 25th and September 24th, 25th, 26th. Sign up in the Atrium or talk with Pastor Henderson for information.

Organist Needed: Faith Lutheran Church, 753 N Calumet Ave., Valparaiso IN 46383 is seeking a part-time organist/pianist/accompianst for immediate assistance with our Sunday morning worship service. Pay is $100 per service. Other services and accompanying the choir may be added later. Instruments are a Berghaus tracker organ, one manual and a Young Chang baby grand piano.
