WEEK 9 AND 10
There is a lot happening in the school this week and
next week before we start the Third Term holidays. Please make sure that you check your child has the
correct summer uniform to wear now that the
weather is beginning to warm up. Please mark your
diary with important dates.
YEAR TWO SLEEPOVER
The sleepover is an important part
of the school’s camping program
and I know that the Year Two Team
have a very exciting night planned.
For some students it is the first time
they have slept away from home or a relative’s place.
It is great preparation for the two night, three day
camp to Camp Oasis in Year Three.
APOLOGIES
Last week I congratulated Jia K of PJB, who was the
winner of the previous week’s quiz. I inadvertently
spelt her name wrong so I apologise to Jia.
2020 ENROLMENTS
If you are yet to enrol your 2020 Prep child please
do so before the end of the term. We run tours on a
Tuesday at 9.30am if you know of anyone that lives
in our zone and is yet to enrol their child for 2020.
SCHOOL COMMUNITY END OF TERM
CELEBRATION
Please don’t forget to join us for a sausage sizzle and
games on Monday at 3.45 on the basketball court.
There will be drinks, chocolates, chips and sausages
for sale so bring along your cash. Items will be $1 or
$2.
1:1 NETBOOK INFORMATION
The 2020 Year 3-4 Netbook Information was
released at the Year 2 meeting on Wednesday night
and will be sent home with students on Friday.
ANNUAL FOOTY DAY
In preparation for the 2019 AFL
Grand Final all EVPS staff and
students are invited to pay a gold
coin donation and wear their footy
colours. All codes of footy colours and uniforms are acceptable. If your
child doesn't follow any footy or soccer or rugby
teams then I suggest they wear black and white!
We would love to see every student and staff
member coming dressed up on this day.
NAPLAN REPORTS
Our student Naplan Reports were sent home on
Wednesday. If you have any questions please
speak with your child’s class teacher.
2020 BOOKLISTS
Please note that a hard copy of the booklists have
been sent home today as well as posted on
Compass. 2020 prep lists will be mailed next
week. There will be no holiday pickup, all packs
will be sent to classrooms.
GOAL SETTING LEARNING TASK
Students have been working really
hard on their personal learning
goals and we are excited that next
week the students’ goals will be shared with
parents via learning tasks in Compass. This is a great opportunity to engage their children to
discuss the goals and their child’s progress.
PLEASE DON’T FORGET THAT….
School finishes at 2:30pm on the last day of term.
We hope to hold an assembly at 1.45 near the hall, weather permitting. All parents are welcome
to join us.
