Our anniversary is coming up, so my wife told me that she would be happy as long as I get her something with a lot of diamonds in it. She’s going to love this pack of playing cards.

Germaine Palmer
Our Mom, has gathered her beautiful wings this evening. She is now an Angel among our heavenly skies watching over each one
of us. May all her memories bring a special warmth to all our hearts throughout our life. We shall all miss your beautiful sto-ries, smiles, and love you shared with all, Mom. God Bless your new journey. Quote from Germaine’s family. Germaine will be
missed by all who knew her here in Tippecanoe Where she made her home and shared her faith
Please keep Germaine’s family in your prayers….
Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end.
They simply mean We'll miss you Until we meet again! (- Author Unknown)
We will be having our 50th Anniversary Celebration on March 7, starting at 2:00 PM in the clubhouse. This is an annual event recognizing those couples in our community who will be celebrating their 50th anniversary during 2021. Honorees this year are Jan & Rich Cunningham, Denise & Don Feren and Sandie & Doug Hitchens. Please join us for cake and punch as we celebrate this marital milestone. This is for residents and guests of the honorees. Wear your masks so we all stay safe.
The AARP Drivers Training Course will not start back up until September at least due to the Covid Virus. The course can be taken on line at "aarpdriversafety.org" in the meantime. Any questions should be addressed to Beverly Cogdill, instructor, at 907-3908

A charity craft project was done by the 11 women who were at the Wednesday craft day. This year approximately 50 stuffed animals were made and donated to the Zephyrhills fire department and police department. The fire fighters and Police usually keep a supply of stuffed animals for those little ones they may come in contact with to help them understand they are loved. The crafting group gets a project of this size done by several cutting out, several sewing and a few stuffing. Always fun to watch the progress of their assembly line. This year bears, pigs, cats and elephants plus hearts were made. Thank you all you participated in this generous charity project.

They also sent a picture of the children at Christmas with all their smiling faces. Again, the Christ-mas Hat Committee thanks you all for your kind donations to this great organization.

These dances are a matter of personal choice. If you are not comfortable in attending, that is your call. If you are, please do so. Masks are recommended and please note that this is a resident-only event. Absolutely no tickets will be sold outside the park. Much of the dance committee will be serving in a remote capacity while a number of people have stepped up to fill in for them during these stressful times. Denny & Carol Putze and Judy Granger will be selling tickets for this event. They have the summary sheets we use to contact residents who normally attend. If they do not get in touch with you, please reach out to them if you are interested.
