We are updating the tables and chairs in the fellowship hall. The old
tables and chairs will be offered to church members for purchase on
September 28. A signup sheet will be available on a first-come-first-
serve basis. The price of chairs is $2 each and the price of tables are $20 each.

Laity Service Award Recognition: Please plan to attend today’s District Laity
Service Award Recognition Service at Mt. Tabor UMC. Dr. Jeff Patterson, our
District Superintendent will be the featured preacher. Josh Dalton, Jeff Smith,
Ray Rushing and Eva Rushing will be recognized.
The Parsonage Committee will meet this evening at 6:00 p.m. at the parsonage
for our annual review.

complete our 2015 budget preparation.

Classes will be held on the first Monday evening of each month. If you are

Monday, October 6: Our area Missional Network meeting will be held at 7:00
p.m. at Sedge Garden UMC. All interested persons are encouraged to attend.

Our Oasis Meal this Wednesday, October 1 will be hosted by the Youth Group. Children will be learning about The Parables, which were a central part of Jesus’ life. In fact, he never spoke to a crowd without a good story. And if parables were that important to Jesus, then let’s dive into them.!
YOUTH BIBLE STUDY – 6th

Grade - (Tim Lawson) Youth Room
Each week the youth will be experiencing different Bible stories that are presenting in new and interesting ways. Each session will grab their attention and get them to dig into issues that have been around since Bible times.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY – The 7 Experiment - (Jessica Dalton) Room #209
We will be fighting back against overindulgence, materialism, and greed in The 7 Experiment. We will come honest and ready to untangle the clutter in our lives. Working to discover how temporarily disengaging from excess can allow God’s heart to break through our stuff and open our eyes to the things that really matter.
ADULT STUDY – The Book of Acts - (David Rorie) Fellowship Hall –
Join us each week as we continue to study Acts of the Apostles. Acts tells the story of the Early Christian church, with particular emphasis on the ministry of the apostles.
