Cash Benefit Cancer Plan...Issue ages 0-69. Pays maximum benefit amount in cash as listed in the policy schedule up to $50,000 for written satisfactory proof of a first-time diagnosis of internal cancer or malignant melanoma. Benefit can be used for anything - income while not working, travel expenses, at-home care, experimental treatment or whatever is needed. Pays in addition to other coverage. Available for individual, single parent, or family coverage.

HealthGuard (CILS)… Issue ages 18-64. The plan is critical illness protection which pays a lump sum benefit directly to the policyholder upon written satisfactory proof of first diagnosis. Covered illnesses include: Major Organ Transplant, Heart Attack, Stroke, Total Loss of Eyesight, Total Loss of Hearing, and End Stage Renal Failure. Benefits are available in $10,000 increments, ranging from $10,000 to $50,000. Benefit amounts reduce by 50 percent at age 65. Individual and spouse coverage available.

ProCare® Medicare Supplement Plans... featuring the High Deductible Plan G(HDG) The HDG is a Medicare Supplement Plan G policy that provides all the features and benefits of a standard Plan G but at a substantially lower premium. The difference is a calendar-year deductible. The amount of the calendar-year deductible for 2020 is $2,340. (Set by the federal government) Why does an HDG policy make great sense? U A’s Company statistics show the majority of their Plan G policyholders have annual claims well below the current deductible amount of $2,340. In fact, Company statistics show that 80% of policyholders ages 65-67 had annual claims averaging $524. If your clients anticipate few claims or small claims, an HDG policy may be the right choice! After all, why pay premiums for claims they may never have?

Here’s a quick glance at the easy sell United American products:

UA-250 Accident Compensation Plan ...Issue ages 0-63. Guaranteed Renewable for Life! Pays cash benefits for accidental injury. Choose from a lump sum payment of up to $10,000 per accident or a hospital cash benefit of up to $6,250. Also includes an Accidental Death Benefit which pays $10,000 instead of all other benefits (or $10,000 minus any previously paid benefit) to chosen beneficiary.

The Plan HDF is available to individuals that turned 65 prior to Jan 1st 2020. If they turned 65 after Jan 1st 2020 they can get on the new HDG Plan. In 2020, the Government will authorize the creation of a new High Deductible Plan G. As you may know, Plan F is disappearing for new purchases as of 2020. With the disappearance of Plan F, the High Deductible Plan F will be gone as well. If you are interested in buying a High Deductible plan, the only option you will have will

be the High Deductible PLAN G High Deduc ble Plan Overall Rating 5 STARS !!!!!

With the Plan HDF's removal in the year 2020 and the price difference be-tween High Deduc ble Plan F vs High Deduc ble Plan G, the High Deduc ble G will be one of the best values for supplement market. !!!

The COVID‐19 pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus has challenged health care like never before.

Health insurance providers, policymakers and tech companies have responded with new ideas, new flexibil‐

ity and new solu ons. The pandemic has in par cular put a spotlight on telemedicine as a beneficial tool for

screening and monitoring the sick, protec ng the healthy, and suppor ng our na on's most vulnerable. This

special report captures a snapshot of how telemedicine is being used and the ways in which health care

could be reshaped a er this crisis is behind us.

Telehealth: A solu on to mul ple pandemic challenges

Policymakers and health care providers are advoca ng for expanded use of telehealth to manage a number

of challenges presented by the COVID‐19 pandemic. Proponents say telehealth can allow people who think

they might be infected to be screened at home rather than at clinics or hospitals, where they could spread

the virus or be exposed to it, and telehealth can also allow clinicians to safely check in on people who are at

high risk of serious illness if exposed and infected. Full Story: Medscape (free registra on) (3/4),  New England Journal of Medicine online (3/11)

Insurers boost virtual care amid COVID-19

Health insurance providers are waiving cost sharing, relaxing network restric ons and making other changes to enable access to COVID‐19 care, and telehealth figures into many of their strategies. For example, Hu‐mana is covering virtual urgent care without cost sharing, Aetna has waived telemedicine fees for all condi‐ons, and Magellan Health is allowing free access to its digital cogni ve behavioral therapy program and has

expanded behavioral telehealth offerings.

Full Story: Health Payer Intelligence (4/7)

Pandemic pushes telemedicine use to an all- me high

Telehealth usage rose by 50% in March and virtual health care interac ons are projected to top 1 billion by

the end of 2020, according to Forrester Research, with 900 million of those involving the novel coronavirus.

Health insurers have aided the transi on to virtual care amid the COVID‐19 pandemic by urging pa ents to

use telehealth for screening, rather than clogging up emergency departments. Full Story: CNBC (4/4)
