Labyrinth Open this Sunday

The Labyrinth will be open this Sunday, February 4 from 3-5 p.m. in Grace Hall. Sharon Glass will lead Centering Prayer at 2 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to step away from the noise of daily life for a brief time of quiet, prayer and individual reflection. You are welcome to stop in anytime that the Labyrinth is open and stay as long or as briefly as you like. You may enter by the double glass doors on Carroll Street or by using the code at the other doors.

The Labyrinth will be open on Sunday, March 4 from 3-5 p.m. and during Holy Week (the last week of March). More details about Holy Week times will be forthcoming.

The Labyrinth will not be open on Sunday, April 1 so that our volunteers can spend Easter afternoon with their families.

Young Adult Retreat – February 23-25

The Delaware-Maryland Practice Discipleship team will be hosting their 2nd annual Young Adult Retreat at Mar-Lu-Ridge from 9 p.m. February 23 until 12 noon February 25. This is an incredible opportunity for those who have graduated out of youth ministry but are not quite ready to be involved in the adult classes. Young adults are a unique group and it is important to build community within your faith community. This retreat is the perfect low-key opportunity to do just that! The retreat costs $140 per person and we are asking college students to pay $50 and non-college students to pay $70. The remaining costs will be covered by Grace. The registration form can be found on Grace’s website and should be turned in to Leanne with your payment no later than February 7. You can pay with cash or checks, and checks should be made to Grace Lutheran Church with “YA Retreat” in the memo line.
