Or by some personal crisis. Or by the day-to-day routine of dropping kids off, picking them up, driving them somewhere else, and then picking them up again. We find ourselves walking in circles at best, rather than walking with or at least toward God. To repent means to come to our right mind about the way in which we are walking, and to turn, or re-turn, to walking in the Way with Jesus, the Great I AM in the flesh. Or we will get crushed by the weight of our sin. Notice, by the way, it is always our choice – we can walk with God or be crushed by the weight of our sin. PEOPLE & things

Today is Kay’s final day with us. We give thanks for her time with us and wish her God’s richest blessing in her future ministry. There will be a farewell for Kay today between 4.00 pm & 6.00 pm over drinks and nibbles at the Vicarage.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Joan Lowe who died last week. Joan’s Funeral will be held here at St. Andrew’s on Tuesday at 10.30 am.

Special thanks to Ewan Christie for designing our new tea-towel and to Jill Benton for organising it’s screen-printing and packaging. You have both done a fantastic job! If you have purchased a tea-towel please make sure that you have paid the correct amount as we are a few dollars short which effects the amount we give to the Home Ground project.

We are in desperate need of Volunteers to transport people to and from the Selwyn Centre on Wednesday mornings. If you can help contact Jennie or talk to Stephen.

The Bishops have requested that all parishes stop the practice of Intinction during Holy Communion for health and safety reasons.

If you would like to be part of, or know more about our All Comers’ Choir for Easter, please contact Liz Smith 021 02218058 or Suzanne Walton 027 500 2114.

Contributions to the cost of our Pascal Candle for this coming year would be gratefully received. Please leave your contribution at the church office.

Please check your details on the Parish Roll in the foyer of the church and make any necessary updates. Please note that under the new Ministry Unit Statue regarding Parish Rolls a person on the role must regularly have participated in the worship and life of a Ministry Unity over a 6 month period. Being on the role entitles you to vote at the Parish A.G.M.

We are in desperate need of people to go on the church cleaning roster. If you can help please talk to Stephen or contact the parish office.

Lenten Appeal envelopes for Anglican Missions are available at the back of the church.

Please support the Diocesan Lenten Appeal for the Auckland City Mission ‘Homeground’ project.
