Week One

Matthew 2:20 and said, “Get up, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who were trying to take the child’s life are dead.

Luke 2:34-35 Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother :”This child is destined to cause the falling and raising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against ,so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.”

Matthew 13:55-56 Isn’t this carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother’s name Mary, and aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon, and Judas? Aren’t all his sisters with us?

Luke 2:41 Every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the feast of the Passover.

Luke 2:44 Thinking he was in their company, they traveled among their relatives and friends.

Acts1:14 They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

Luke 2:40 And the child grew and became strong; he was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.

Luke 2:52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

Luke 2:48-50 When his parents saw him, they were astonished. His mother said to him, ” Son, why have you treated us like that? Your father and I have been anxiously searching for you. ”Why were you searching for me?, he asked. Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house? But they do not understand what he was saying to them.

Mark 3:31-35 Then Jesus’ mother and brothers arrived. Standing outside, they sent someone in to call him. A crowd was sitting around him, and they told him, ”Your mother and brothers are outside looking for you.”. Who are my mother and my brothers? he asked then he looked at those seats in a circle around him and said ,”Here are my mothers and my brothers! Whoever does God’s will is my brothers and sisters and mothers.
