we were so pumped to meet
you during IntroDUCKtion a few weeks ago,
and now we’re gearing up for the new
school year.
We offer activities before classes begin
for you to learn about the many resources
available to you, meet new people, and make
friends! We call this event Week of Welcome
(WOW). During this event you’ll learn a ton
and participate in several social events and
outdoor activities, so we hope you’re excited!

• All students planning on arriving before September 26 must receive prior approval by University Housing with confirmation by sponsoring department.
• A pre-contract arrival charge will be billed in addition to academic-year room and board charges to all other pre-approved university department check-ins.
• University Housing check-in dates for university-sponsored groups may vary and are to be prearranged with the sponsoring department and University Housing.
• Park as close as possible to your complex (be sure to follow posted parking directions; no free parking on these days).

Meet your fellow students and faculty, participate in stimulating discussions, and learn about opportunities and resources unique to Clark Honors College students. Lunch and snacks are provided.Faculty will serve up Prince Puckler’s Homemade Ice Cream in the afternoon, followed by an exciting activity with the Clark Honors College Student Association. SECOND-LANGUAGE PLACEMENT TESTINGComputer lab, EMUStudents will have one opportunity this day to take a placement test for French, German, or Spanish. Testing begins at 11:15 a.m. and will be held at the EMU Computer Lab. Students needing to take both the math and a language placement exam should take the math placement test first and when finished come to the EMU Computer Lab for the language placement test.
