Teachers will be available for online assistance via email between the hours of 9:00-10:30 AM. Suggested length of daily assignments are about an hour. Two main digital resources that are utilized in the plans are Headsprout with Kids A-Z and Dreambox. These two programs adjust to your child’s progress in the sections. Please do not assist your child so that the necessary reteaching can be given. Usernames, passwords, and student ID number can be found taped to the inside of your child’s green folder. Student ID number and email address for Microsoft office access are taped to the inside of the orange daily folder. If you are ever prompted to change a password, please use 123. As always, please read with your child; let them read to you and you read to them. Practice sight words. The Kindergarten words are on my blog and the first-grade list is linked at the bottom of that page. Math workbook pages and other work packets were sent home on Friday, March 13th. Please allow your child to work on these as well as the digital platform. On the next pages are activities for your child to do. Corresponding worksheets are in the back of this packet. Complete the “Find and Record CVC words-short a” worksheet. Practice reading the

words when finished. When finished, write extra rhyming words for each

column.

Practice at least one sight word list and read at least one assigned digital book. Clever--Learning A-Z—Purple planet on left that

says Reading—-My Assignments

Start your writing about your weekend. Draw a picture and write about

what you did this weekend. Make sure to add many details to your

picture and your sentences.

You can use your own paper or print writing paper from the writing

folder in our Class Notebook.

Dreambox for 15 minutes

Math Word Problem:Zoe C. has 6 flowers. Some are yellow and

some are orange. How many are yellow? How

many are orange? Write all combinations.

Print and cut out the math fact cards. Practice these math facts with a

family member. It’s ok if you need help at first. Keep practicing them

every day. You should know all addition and

subtraction facts within 5 fluently by the end of

May.

Practice at least one list of sight words

Continue your writing from yesterday. Add

more details about your weekend. Try to write at least 4 sentences about

what you did this weekend.

Reread your writing to check for capital letters at the beginning of your

sentence, punctuation, spacing between words, no random capital letters, and that your writing

makes sense.

Take a picture of your finished work and

upload it into our class notebook.
