Cross Country by Mav

Cross Country is a school run. It is at Collingwood School.

I ran it. I came 14th Place. I did two laps. I took over Kiyo

and Brody. Kiyo came 15th. I

felt proud. My Dad and Grandparents came. They

were really proud of me too.

The Cross Country in Collingwood by Teru

I was excited but nervous when we got called to the starting line. There were 24 people in the race and I started near the front. I had

a metre lead but there were two laps. I ended up 1st and Sawyer came second. I never knew he was that fast. I was amazed that

Motupipi got first and second.

Last Thursday it was Cross Country in Collingwood. I

sawyer, came 2nd in the 7 year olds. I felt good. I was proud.

We had to do two laps. I had never done two laps be-fore. It was such a long way. I tried to beat Teru, but

he was too fast for me.

I was really proud when I had to go up and get my cer-tificate, but they called my name out wrong. They

called me Buschl Green. At first I didn’t know they meant me. They are sending me a new certificate with

Sawyer on it. Sawyer

Cross Country by Malika

I felt nervous when we started the race. On the first round I man-aged to run straight through the mud. Others ran around the mud

and were slower. On the second round I realised it was quicker to run straight through the mud. I am proud of myself because I came

6th out of all the 7 year olds in Golden Bay.
