3. Title a page: HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH then list 7 - 10 or more activities that could be done to learn more about or focus positively on “Hispanic Heritage” (Or free- write on the topic of “Hispanic Heritage”)

Hypothesis: If a stack of three books is dropped on a sealed ziploc bag (Mrs. Gall doesnt have balloons today :( ) from a height of two feet, the bag will pop open.
Materials:
3 books
1 sealed ziploc bag
Procedure:
1. Blow a ziploc bag full of air, then seal it closed.

Materials:
3 books
1 sealed ziploc bag
Procedure:
1. Blow a ziploc bag full of air, then seal it closed.
2. Place the sealed bag on a flat surface.
3. Measure two feet in the air above the bag.
4. Hold three books in a stack above the bag.
5. Drop the books.

Procedure:

During the experiment:
TAKE NOTES: RECORD THE HEIGHT, NUMBER OF BOOKS FOR EACH TRIAL
KEEP EXPERIMENTING UNTIL YOU FIND A HEIGHT AND NUMBER OF BOOKS THAT POPS THE BAG AT LEAST 3 TIMES, AND THAT NEVER FAILS TO POP THE BAG.

Conclusion: The balloon did ____ pop when three books were dropped on it from a height of two feet above the bag.
Discussion: (lessons learned: successes and errors)
The bag did pop three times in a row- and never failed to pop - when __ books were dropped from a height of ___ feet.
