• Period 3 will view a video featuring Stuart Scott, who receives the Jimmy V Perseverance Award and discusses his longstanding battle with cancer. This is a video that embraces the belief that we should live our lives to their fullest. Please note: this speech is exceptionally impassioned and moving. For many of our students, cancer is an end. For those with a history, this video could prompt emotions should be validated, but also balanced with the belief that not all stories like these end tragically.
