Reflection

When our roots are in Jesus, everything we do will start to showproof of that. The same way the colour of the flowers changed

when it was placed in food colouring. When we stabilize ourselvesin Him, we will start to soak up His love and characteristics, whichwill later be shown to those around us. The longer we spend timewith Him, the more filled we will be and the change will be more

evident. The same way the flowers got more colour the longerthey stayed.

Impressions are very important, our actions and our words havean impact on people and that’s something that they will always

remember us by. It’s important for us as believers, to try and leavea positive stamp on those around us. So that when they remember

us and recall our time together, they’ll see Christ in us and notourselves. They’ll see Him moving through our actions and

speaking through our words. God stamped us with His specialstamp and called us His children, and that’s something we should

showcase to the world so that they know that they have the chanceto be stamped as well.

- Then carefully cut around the edges of thecookie cutter to leave a portion of the potato

Packing Peanut Bees

Bees never rest, they go around to as many plants as they canand pollinate. By pollinating, the bees are keeping the cycle of

life going, helping plants grow and produce fruit. Withoutpollination, fruit trees, vegetables, berries, nuts, along with

many more foods would not be available. We need to be busybees at times as well, spreading the good news to every “plant”,telling them of a new life available in Christ. By doing this, we

could be sending revival in someone’s way

- paint the packing peanuts yellow- once dried, paint stripes of black around it

- paint eyes and a mouth- paint the toothpicks black

- break a toothpick in half and stick one halfat the back to create a stinger

Leaf Clay Dish

A leaf plays a very important part throughout all of its life. Nomatter the shape or the colour, every leaf helps make food for the

tree that it belongs to. Once that leaf falls down, it becomes asanctuary for bugs and microspecies, and acts as a nitrogen-rich

fertilizer once it decomposes. Even now, we used this leaf to makea useful dish! We should be efficient and helpful no matter whatthe environment we are in is, just like leaves. We should strive tohelp others at all times, adapting to the environment around usand the condition we are in, always observing what you could

personally do to assist others.

- find a big leaf- roll out the clay, bring the leaf and press it

down into the clay- once you think all the details from the leaf

has transferred, remove the leaf- cut around the imprint made then remove

the excess clay- cup the finished clay leaf in your handsand gently work it into a bowl shape by

curling up the edges.- wait for it to dry (may take 24 hours)

-  paint with any colours

Bleeding Tissue Paper Leaf Art

The soaked up tissue paper created a stained backdrop for theleaf. God's word should be our backdrop. Jesus once said "If you

love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15). Hiscommandments should be in our head at all times, so that if we're

ever confused, scared, or in doubt, we can turn to His word foranswers and comfort. His word acts as a map for us and sets up

guidelines of how we should act and live. Just like the tissue papersoaked up the water, we need to soak up God's word and be filled

with Him, so that we may shine as His children in this world.

- cut out coloured tissue paper into smallpieces and place them on a white sheet of

paper- spray water on the tissue paper and wait

for it to dry- remove the tissue paper
