Mums and Dads wanted for a brief positive parenting programme The Triple P Research Group at the University of Auckland is seeking families with a 5- to 8-year-old child to participate in a research project. Participation will include attendance at parenting groups that teach about positive parenting and discipline strategies to constructively manage their child’s behaviour, free of charge. We are looking for parents to participate in the project who: have a child between the ages of 5 and 8 who is showing some difficulties with his or her behaviour and ar e interest ed in attendi ng a brief  discussion group based parenting programme. The Mobile Ear Clinic will be at school on the followingdays Thursday the 29th September and Tuesday the4th October.

Photolife Studios

Individual photos will be taken on the 27th October. Prepaid envelopes are coming home so as you can getorganised and pay in advance. If the envelope is notreturned to school your child/rens photos will not betaken. This is done outside of the school, so there is nofacility to pay by eft pos at the school. It is either cash,cheque or credit card details. The office often does nothave enough change to be able to change for smaller,so please the correct amount would be appreciated.

Learning Languages Survey

Year 7 & 8 students are taught a international language.Year 6 & 7 parents/caregivers were surveyed to seewhich of the ten ministry supported internationallanguages they would like their child/ren to learn. 56%of parents / caregivers returned the survey. Thank youfor an outstanding return.
