is the perfect destination for your Hunter Valley wedding.

Enjoy your special day overlooking our picturesque vineyards and waterways. No expense has been spared with luxurious fittings in our Restaurant and Cellar Door. With high vaulted timber ceilings, open fireplaces and an expansive covered verandah, RidgeView

offers year round comfort in the heart of Wine Country.

We can cater for small, intimate gatherings or lively parties surrounded by family and friends. The total capacity we can accommodate for your reception is 100 guests utilizing the outdoor screened dining area. 60-70 guests can be accommodated within the inside of the restaurant, depending on your desired table configuration. Expansive lawns allow for garden games. You can play boules, Jenga, or giant chess with your guests. In case of

inclement weather RidgeView has both indoor and outdoor ceremony options.

Our Executive Chef has developed a culinary experience, incorporating high quality, fresh local produce from the Hunter Valley and surrounds, designed to be matched with our award winning, estate made wines. We start with a range of canapés and RidgeView’s Sparkling Cuvée, served to you and your guests on the verandah overlooking the vines, before moving into the restaurant for your first meal as a married couple. We are very flexible with menus and understand the special requirements that you or your guests may have. Please let us know what you require and we will design something special to

This booklet outlines our wedding and ceremony packages, but please keep in mind that we are happy to accommodate any ideas or requests that you have. Packages can also be

adjusted to work within whatever budget you have set.

KIEWA & PARRAGILGA SUPERIOR 2 BEDROOM COTTAGES

Comfortable design with a country feel. The cottages have a spacious lounge room with separate dining area. Each cottage is suitable for two couples with a queen bed in each bedroom. There is a main bathroom with a large shower and spa bath and an additional private shower/ensuite off the second bedroom. Large well equipped kitchen, air conditioning and log fire as well as a large undercover outdoor BBQ area and covered carport. Complimentary bottle of wine in each cottage. Single rollaway bed available for Kiewa & Parragilga cottages only, at an additional cost.

WARRINA & JINGELLA LUXURY COTTAGES FOR ONE COUPLE ONLY

These cottages are perfect for that special getaway. Open plan design showcasing a king bed with an oversize bathroom, containing a double spa bath and separate double shower. The cottages also con-tain a well-equipped Tasmanian Oak kitchen, log fire, and air conditioning, LCD TV and surround sound systems. These luxurious cottages have been built specifically for one couple. Both cottages have a large wrap around verandah with privacy walls, sun lounges, BBQ facilities, private Jacuzzi and sauna. Each cottage also has a covered carport. Two com-plimentary bottles of wine and chocolates in each cottage.

ACCOMMODATION

We have four luxurious cottages available at RidgeView. Total occupancy for all cottages is 12 guests (6 couples). Kiewa and Parragilga accommodate two couples in each cottage. Warrina and Jingella accommodate one couple in each cottage. Please note that all cottages have a two night minimum stay. Wedding accommodation will be discounted when all four cottages are booked. Additionally, when all four cottages are booked newly weds will receive a complimentary champagne breakfast the morning after at our Restaurant.

RIDGEVIEW COTTAGES DIRECT BOOKING CONDITIONS Full details of cottage allocation and guest names will be required in due course. 50% of full payment required on confirmation of booking and remaining balance due on arrival. Payment can be made by direct deposit or credit card (3% credit card fee applies). Cancellation or part cancellation will incur a 10% booking fee. If cancellation is within 14 days of intended stay there will be no refunds, however, the deposit will be credited to a future stay. This credit will remain valid for 6 months.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

DEPOSITS A signed copy of your event contract and a deposit of $1000 is required within 14 days after your inspection, allowing us to secure your booking date. Your preferred date will not be secure until the deposit has been paid. RidgeView reserves the right to cancel your booking if the deposit has not been received by the due date.

PAYMENT TERMS 50% of total wedding cost is to be paid 90 DAYS prior to the event date. Final payment for all catering and additional items is to be paid 30 DAYS prior to the event date. We accept the following methods of payment: Cash & Cheque (please allow 7 days for cheque clearance) Credit card payments (will incur a 3% surcharge) Direct Bank Transfer: COMMONWEALTH BANK – BSB: 062 000 – ACCOUNT NUMBER: 1355 9686

PRICES Whilst every effort is made to maintain prices, they may be subject to alteration prior to your function. We recommend, for budgeting purposes, to consider a 5% rise per year. Should this be the case, you will be notified in a timely manner. All prices quoted are inclusive of GST.

CANCELLATIONS If cancellation of the wedding occurs 6 months PRIOR to the event date, any money paid will be refunded MINUS a 25% administration fee.If cancellation of the wedding occurs WITHIN 6 months of the event date, RidgeView reserves the right to retain any monies paid.

UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES Due to unforeseen circumstances or accidents, RidgeView reserves the right to cancel any booking and refund any monies paid at any time.

INSURANCE Although all reasonable care will be taken, RidgeView cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage of property prior to, during or after the function. The person responsible for the financial settlement of the event will be financially responsible for any loss or damage sustained to the property or staff of RidgeView.

NUMBER OF GUESTS We require confirmation of final numbers 30 DAYS prior to the function date. This forms the basis for which catering is to be charged. Reducing the numbers of guests after this time will not be reflected in the billing.

FOOD & BEVERAGE REQUIREMENTS All menu and beverage choices must be confirmed with the Functions Manager 30 DAYS prior to the event date, allowing enough time for ordering and preparation. Any dietary requirements must also be specified at this time.

DURATION OF THE FUNCTION Event hire is a 5-hour period, starting at Reception service. Should the event exceed the 5-hour period, an additional charge of $500 per hour,or $300 per half hour will apply. RidgeView will allow an additional 15 minutes after your event has finished for guests to vacate the premises. If your guests haven’t vacated within this time, RidgeView can charge the additional fee as per above.

DECORATIONS Theming is up to the individual, however RidgeView is happy to offer advice regarding decorations and theming. We encourage the use of flowers and candles on the tables, but do not allow glitter, fairy dust, scatters, rice or confetti. If you require assistance for setting up, for an additional charge RidgeView can assist in preparation. Please enquire regarding this.

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL RidgeView abides with the Office of Liquor & Gaming, indicating no outside alcohol will be allowed to be consumed on premise (Cellar Door and Restaurant licensed area, including carpark). In regards to the Responsible Service of Alcohol, we reserve the right to not serve alcohol to persons who are intoxicated or under the age of 18 years.
