Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa is situated within the grounds of the historic homestead and original summer residence of Sir Frederick Darley, the sixth Chief Justice of NSW. Set amidst two acres of manicured gardens adjacent to Echo Point, our 5 star resort overlooks the most spectacular scenery in the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park and is a leisurely 90 minute drive from Sydney CBD.

Lilianfels Blue Mountains Resort & Spa was designed to celebrate its Victorian origins and its ambience reflects the romance of a bygone era. Lilianfels can cater for wedding receptions up to 100 guests and also has 85 accommodation rooms and suites that are all uniquely themed.

Pine ForestElevated above the entry driveway on the northern side of the Resort, the Pine Forest is shaded by two hundred year old pine trees and affords fantastic views of the Jamison Valley. Catering for up to 100 guests, the Pine Forest is an ideal outdoor ceremony venue along with the charming Darley’s Restaurant cottage in the fore-ground, it is also the perfect setting for your wedding photos.

Oak LawnSituated adjacent to Darley’s Restaurant and within the surrounds of the manicured rose gardens of the Resort, the secluded Oak Lawn under the shade of our ancient Oak tree is the ideal venue for a personal ceremony catering for up to 60 guests.

Banksia CourtyardPerfect for an elegant outdoor ceremony, our Banksia Courtyard descends from a covered verandah and caters for up to 100 guests. The Banksia Courtyard with its manicured garden surrounds and views overlooking the Jamison Valley is adjacent to the Banksia Room. An outdoor marquee can also be setup within the courtyard.

The Banksia RoomOur pillarless function room boasts 120 square metres of space with a ceiling height of 2.7 metres. Located on the ground floor, Banksia Room enjoys natural light, floor to ceil-ing French doors, which lead out to a covered terrace, views of the Resort gardens and overlooking the Jamison Valley. With the capacity to cater up to 100 guests for a wedding, the Banksia Room is ideal for grand indoor wedding celebrations.

The Wollemi Pine RoomWith 60 square metres of space and with a ceiling height of 3.6 metres, the Wollemi Pine Room is ideal for a small intimate style wedding catering for up to 40 people for a sit-down dinner. Located on the ground floor, Wollemi Pine Room enjoys natural light, full length windows, natural light and a sense of space.

The Hydro Majestic Hotel

The Hydro Majestic Hotel has a history and a mythology that follows the map of our nation from Federation and through two world wars to present day. Now, the long awaited opportunity to peel back its layers and rediscover the essence of the most famous historic resort in the Blue Mountains has arrived.

The much-anticipated revitalisation of the iconic Hydro Majestic Hotel has commenced. The ‘Hydro’ is scheduled to open in two stages, with stage one of the public areas and function rooms to be completed in 2014. The Hydro will be able to accommodate wedding receptions up to 250 guests. Past glories, architectural and design aspects, and lost atmospherics will be revived and rediscovered, while a touch of the here-and-now is set to take the building into the future.

FAQs

What time may I have my reception from? Your reception room hire begins once your Pre-Dinner Drinks have commenced. The length of time you are in the reception room is determined by the room hire included in your wedding package. Should you wish to extend the room hire, the fee is $500.00 per hour (or part thereof) and is required to be pre-arranged. Additional charges for DJ extension and beverages also apply. Please note curfews do apply at some venues due to proximity to accommodation.

How do my guests access the reception room? If it was to rain we would organise for an undercover space to be used for your ceremony. This option will vary depending on avail-ability but will be discussed with your wedding coordinator prior to the wedding date. Please note – the decision will be made at the hotel‘s discretion.

What time can I set up from? Please note access times are not able to be confirmed until one week prior to the reception.


We wish to go ahead with our booking - what do we do next? Once you advise that you wish to confirm your wedding with us, your wedding coordinator will send you a custom wedding con-tract. A signed copy of this along with a 25% deposit (50% if booking is within 6 months) of your estimated total is due within 5 working days to confirm your booking.
