WEDDING AGREEMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Bookings are shall be deemed valid only upon signing of the Catering Agreement by all parties

and upon receipt by the Caterer of a non-refundable deposit of €300.

2. Client must confirm the final number of covers and any last minute changes in the menu to the Caterer by not later than 2 weeks prior to the date of the event, at which time, a deposit equivalent to a further 40% of the estimated total amount due shall be paid to the Caterer. If this second deposit is not paid, Caterer shall be entitled, at its discretion, not to supply the products and services and retain the aforementioned non-refundable deposit of €300.

3. The remaining balance is to be settled by not later than 15 days after the event.

4. The Caterer will, during the event, provide the number of covers as confirmed by the client according to clause 2 above. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that the number of covers confirmed as per clause 2 above is correct. Should there however be more covers present for the event, the Caterer may charge the additional covers at the rate stipulated in the contract.

5. The Client undertakes to procure all catering requirements for the event exclusively from the Caterer and, in default, shall defend, hold harmless and indemnify the Caterer against any claim, damage or loss (including but not limited to loss of goodwill, loss of business and other similar loss) arising from the service of catering supplied by third parties, including the Client himself/herself/itself. Without prejudice to the foregoing, should the Caterer become aware of the Client’s breach before the function, the Caterer shall be entitled to refuse to supply the products or services agreed and the full amount which would have otherwise been due for the products or services shall be due to the Caterer by way of a penalty due for mere delay, not subject to any abatement or reduction by any court.

6. The Client must confirm any themed/event cake by not later than one month prior to the date of the event. This must be done by either selecting from the Caterer’s catalogued images or by providing a personalised image or design. The price of the themed/event cake may vary according to the type and personalisation requested by the Client.

7. In the event that the Caterer is required to provide the beverages, the same conditions above will apply. However, the Client may procure beverages from alternative suppliers at no extra charges by the Caterer.

8. Ice flakes & cubes will be provided at a charge per bag.

9. Staff charges may vary between date of order and date of event to reflect any legislated or statutory changes. Client agrees to pay such differences.

10. Client acknowledges that Quotations, estimates or price lists must in no way be taken to constitute the final amount to be charged to the Client for the event and can be revised to reflect the actual volumes of products and/or services delivered by the Caterer. The final price will be submitted in an invoice which will be raised by the Caterer immediately after the event and will incorporate all products provided and services rendered relating to the event.
