HUGS MINISTRY — When I pulled the package out of the mailbox, I wondered what it could be. I gave it to Dottie – she wondered the same thing! Thank you so much for the lap robe – it means so much more than a piece of material. It represents our faith in God for salvation, strength, and healing through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This is a great and much needed ministry. Keep up the good work! -- Pastor Floyd Myers What is HUGS? HUGS (Hands Unto God’s Service) is a unique ministry of prayer, comfort, and caring manifested through prayer shawls, lap robes, and quilts hand-crafted by members of Bethany UMC. Just as hugs convey a sense of love, concern, support, and security within embracing arms, the HUGS ministry exists to provide Christian love and comfort to those in physical, spiritual, or emotional need. For more info., contact Janet Chapin (804-642-6822).
