Urbanization was one of the primary effects of 19th century industrialization. People moved into urban areas (cities) from rural areas
(farms/countryside)
Push factor: Second Agricultural Revolution (including increased technology in farming) led to lack of jobs in rural areas.
Pull factor: Easy availability of factory jobs in urban areas.
