A LETTER FROM THE COORDINATOR

Every year, it is very inspiring to be part of a World changing

environment.

No matter how difficult it is to achieve our yearly goals, we are

putting our efforts together for the benefit of the communities and our

people.

By developing other, each days we are growing. It’s really amazing

to have a wide network of people contributing to our success this year. We

have received support from your actions in the

USA, UK, China, Italia, Germany, Nigeria, Belgium, Brazil, Mexico, Czec

h Republic, Austria and Cameroon.

Without your participation by inkind and/or nature, we couldn’t

reach the impact that is going to be notified in the following pages of this

report.

We thanks our donors, our supporters, with a special one to the

community of Bangoua village and his Majesty Annick Julion

Njampou, RUPEI Orphanage, MONECA Foundation, Our Lady Bilingual

PEOPLE TREATED PEER EDUCATOR PEOPLE SENSITIZED

HEALTH IMPROVMENT

“It was my second Summer project with

Webdev Foundation, I am still learning a lot as

per going in the field for sensitization.”

Anne-Marie Kaleuk (Cameroon)From the previous years, we have observed a real progress in our

williness to improve health conditions both in rural and urbans areas

where we operate: Bafoussam and Bangoua.

We succeeded during our Every Child is Ours Project and the

Summer Project to train peer educator and sensitized more than 2000

people.

Earlier 2013, we have lunched our Health and Hope Program

which aim to fight against HIV/AIDS and other Sexual Transmitted

Deseases by using natural methods of treatment comprising with

mixture of herbs and trees’ skins. It’s about 54 people we registered

and curred successfully.

During our Summer project, in a partnership with Bangoua

Hospital and ECEEBA (A student association of Bangoua), we could

provide free HIV test to 100 people from a average of 7 villages.

Amoung them, 30 were infected and will follow up through next year

a Free-Therapy process with the Bangoua Hospital. We also carry out

Eye and Blood preasure checking on about 86 people with age range

between 45 and 60. All of them had problem and the hospital

afterward setup an Ophtalmology service to follow up those who has

got problem and also to make sure other customers can benefit for the

service throughout the year.

Despite these achievements, we lack ressources such as

poster, training matérials

(books, video…), condoms, flyers, transportation logistics such as

motorbikes, cars…

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

“My practical and theoretical views

about certain things were very much

increased. I got to learn the basics of

French also.”

Samuel Onome (Nigeria)

The year 2013 was a great year in term of youth outreach with

437 youth skills empowered in the fields of Information

Technology, Health, Languages, Cultures and Social Responsibility.

To be able to empower those youth in more than 6 towns and

villages across Cameroon, we organised Seminars and Workshop in

Bangoua, Yaounde and Douala where about 15 young Cameroonians

were empowered with skills to be facilitators.

As we are always seeking for opportunities to empower

youth, our coordinator being an AIESEC Alumnus has participated

to several AIESEC workshops and seminars both in Douala and

Dschang to enable leadership skills of about 47 members of the

world largest above mentionned student organisation with it

representation in Cameroon.

Youth entrepreneurship is still not well understood here in

Cameroon. As part of a developing countries, youth in Cameroon

have as sole ambition to finish their university degree and work for

the government that can’t give them the dreamed job they want. This

become a social problem that each entity that think about

sustanability take in consideration. For this reason, we have

luanched a seminar on webmastering with the participation of 4

youth that can today easilly create website using the Content

Management System called Wordpress. From creating locally and

online implementation to webserver administration the skilled youth

are now acting on the field in the western region.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

“Communication skill is the most important skill when

proposing your point of view in a group.” Constance

Chou (China)There isn’t a real society if people can’t help each other as per

need and availability. We aim in 2013 to support deprived people

mostly children/orphans and also by our actions, show the case

practice that can serve as example within the community we are

working in.

With the contribution of our international volunteers, we were

able to provide +40 Kg of presents to orphans at RUPEI and AGAPE

orphanages comprising with

clothes, shoes, pens, pencils, books, caps… We also donated 6

trashes cans and 6 blackboards to Collège Evangélique de Bangoua

and Ecole Publique de Ndepnou in Bangoua still.

Our community engagement imply that we have a real

communion with our people. For this we could be able to work in

the farm with orphans and deafs from RUPEI in Yaounde. We were

able to clean up the monument of « Summer 11 Project » and build a

WEBDEV monument with three planting at Bangoua Hospital. In

addition, seven (7) packets of blood were donated and we also was

able to protect the healthy of the group working for the project in

Bangoua.

The participants of summer project has received each a special

gifts from the logistics raising campaings done internationally and

also the support of some key partners such as ACMS (Agence

Camerounais de Marketing Social).

"Ecotourism on the River LA LOBE in Kribi, on the

way to Pygmies village"

In one hand, we are willing to be more sustainable and

contribute to the development of the society. We therefore need to

put things together to be able to respond efficiently to Grants. We

could then attend a 5 days seminar done in May 2013 at Mont Febe

Hotel in Yaounde on the funding opportunities by European Union.

We got from there lot of contacts that will be helpful for the setting

up of new project and also to help connecting our beneficiaries to

the network.

International Volunteers that supported us were willing to

discover the country after their job. We couldn’t afford to provide

them this so that they could see the country differently, leasure time

out of work stress. These tourism activities has participated to

encrease the economy of the country and could be develop in the

following month as an income generation activity for the

organisation.

Some local NGOs joined our Tchoukhost Project that aim to

provide cheap design and hosting opportunity to SME and NGOs in

Africa to increase their presence online. Amoungs them we can

name: Future Hands (Nigeria), Art et Vie (Cameroon), Bekondo

Foundation (Cameroon and USA), Netfosa (Cameroon)…

Due to lack of ressources, we couldn’t push up all these

initiatives and hope to raise next years about 10 000€ to boost the

Tchoukhost and Tourism Projects that are now an added value to our

organisation and will become the most important incomes sourcing.

VOLUNTEERING AND EXCHANGE

"Closing ceremony of Summer

Camp Cameroon project at Collège

Evangelique de Bangoua"We believe there is an opportunity to develop proactive leaders

with a vision for Cameroonian society within the global

community.

Through providing young people with learning experiences

around an international exchange, we develop socially responsible

leaders with global perspective and the ability to create change.

For us it means the ability to add value to our organisation

through access to a global talent pool of highly skilled, young

leaders.

18 international and 6 national volunteers engaged themselves

for our challenging experiences within Cameroon. from more than

11 countries (Germany, Brazil, Italia, China, Nigeria, United

Kingdom, Belgium, USA, Austria, Poland, Cameroon, Mexico…)

the different team members have put efforts together to impact

people lives.

It’s worth mentioning that this cultural exchange and

volunteering program has impacted not just cameroonians’ lifes, but

also part of our culture have gone back with the volunteers who are

spreading the awareness of the reality in Africa in general and

Cameroon in particular to their citizen.

Travelling out of the country is always a good time for a youth

to challenge and adapt to new realities different from their comfort

zone. After an experience, people go back home totally changed and

become more open minded with new culture.

CULTURE AND LANGUAGES

« Jonathan (Cameroon), Aska

Global Village at Local Market"

The World is called today « small village » because people

move from one country to another, because transport and

communication ease people lives. But at the same time, people are

now connecting on social media, sending mails, calling with no real

connection, no physical contact.

We created since 2011 a real link between our beneficiaries and

our team by introducing English as Language to be taught. In

2013, we had the opportunity to add Chinese and German with about

159 teanagers trained on the 3 above mentionned languages

throughout our projects. In this way, we are contributing to raise

awarness on the relevance of knowing at least a second language out

of the primary language.

Adding on language, we seek to connect our communities to the

internationals volunteers culture by organising 2 Global Village

(Cultural Fairs) in the Bangoua village during the Summer Camp

project in the months of July and August.
