1) These tables are used to organize the MAB-to-MARC conversion for thereplication of bvb01-records (MAB) into an ALMA-institution of theB3Kat.2) These tables have to be installed on the central Aleph system.

3) Copy all tables "alma_b3kat.*" into the bvb01/tab directory.4) Copy and rename the addon_fulltab-table with the global variablesinto the bvb01/tab directory:cp $mab01_dev/mab01/tab/addon_fulltab_49bvb.bvb01.tab_globalvar_convtb.m2m $bvb01_dev/bvb01/tab/tab_globalvar_convtb.m2m

5) Before you append the addon-files to tab_expandt and tab_fix, you have toremove the old lines within tab_expand/tab_fix:tab_expand-entries: MAB2MARCtab_fix-entries : MB2MC , MMOS1 , MMOS26) Append the appropriate addon-files to tab_expand and tab_fix

7) Restart the pc_server, z39_server and the vst-server.

Description: VST server - Enhancing the Aleph center and Alma member relation to update BIB parent record when LOW field of the child is updated.In Aleph, the LOW field might be changed when activating the 'move BIB to BIB' functionality. This development ensures that in such a case, an update transaction (Z115 record) is created to the parent (in addition to the child Z115 record).

Solution: When a child BIB record is merged via 'move BIB to BIB' mechanism, a Z115 is created for its parent in addition to the child's Z115 record.

Description: VST server - Enhancing the Aleph center and Alma member relation to update parent record when the child is updated.The current Aleph messaging mechanism sends a message when parent or child record is updated. The Z115 is sent to the VST server, containing the pointer to the record that has been updated.In case the updated record is a child record, the Z115 message is also sent to the group to which the member belongs (based on the child's LOW field). The parent record is not send when the child record was changed.

Solution: Based on configuration, when a child BIB record is updated, a Z115 is created for its parent in addition to the child's Z115 record.A new column on tab_low_group is used as a Y/N switch for turning on/off the functionality.In order to activate the above functionality, column 7 in tab_low_group should be set to 'Y'.
