Art 9 – Final Project Task: Your final project gives you the freedom to create any image or landscape but it must relate to a particular topic. Step One - Choose one of these topics: identity optimism transformation Step Two - Brainstorm ideas about your topic. How would you represent or symbolise your topic? ***Keep this brainstorm; you’ll hand it in.*** Step Three - Sketch out your idea(s). You need a plan before beginning your final piece. ***Keep this plan; you’ll hand it in.*** Step Four – Your piece must include at least two of the techniques/theories that we practiced this year. E.g two point perspective plus colour value and cross-hatching. Step Five - Once you have finished your brainstorm and planning sketch, check for a “good to go” from your teacher. Be sure you know what mediums and materials you’ll use. E.g. watercolours and pastels on paper. Step Six - When finished your piece, you must write a reflection. Reflection criteria: Title of your piece Materials/mediums used A paragraph explaining what you included and why. What does it represent? Task: Your final project gives you the freedom to create any image or landscape but it must relate to a particular topic.
