Teaching Plan Course Description Academic Writing is a 2-credit compulsory course for non- English major students. It covers a wide range of topics from the writing process, effective language use to basic writing strategies. After taking the course, the students should be able to think and analyze critically, to be familiar with the basics in academic writing, to compose in a logical and skillful manner, to develop a positive attitude toward academic writing with confidence and interest, to find progress in English language proficiency, and to cope with writing tasks in exams of various types. Teaching Plan

Course Description

Academic Writing is a 2-credit compulsory course for non-English major students. It

covers a wide range of topics from the writing process, effective language use to basic

writing strategies. After taking the course, the students should be able to think and analyze

critically, to be familiar with the basics in academic writing, to compose in a logical and

skillful manner, to develop a positive attitude toward academic writing with confidence
