Create a map of your local area. Make sure to include your school, the main roads, houses, shops and parks. Make sure your map is labelled with street names if you know them and it is to scale.

PE

Just like the daily run at school, try to find somewhere (ask an adult) where you can run laps. See how many laps you can do in 10 minutes and write it down. Try again in 1hr and see if you have improved.

History

Can you research the history of Sheffield. What was the main industry here? Where did most people work? When were the trams introduced? When was our school built? Make a poster or a fact file about this.

RE

Think about the people in the world who don’t have as much as us, especially at this time. Write a list of all the things you are grateful that you have in your life, and write a prayer thanking God for these.

Design and Technology

Design a T-shirt which can be sold for charity to help raise money for people affected by the impact of coronavirus. What will your design include? How much will the T-shirt cost?

Can you research a charity in our local area which works to help people. Find out what they do to help others, how they raise money and what we can do to help them.

Think about your ideal playground. What would it look like? What equipment would it have? Design your ideal school playground and write a description of it.
