To initiate an Employee Evaluation, please notify HR that an evaluation should be released. Please include if the evaluation is to be training one, or annual eval. To initiate an Employee Evaluation, please notify HR that an evaluation should be released. Please include if the evaluation is to be training one, or annual eval. Once initiated by HR, the employee will receive the following email to begin their self-assessment. The employee should follow the directions given in the email to navigate to their to-do items to complete the self-assessment.

The employee will come to this screen. They should review the instructions and then click on “Entry” to begin the self-

assessment.

This is the screen where the employee will note their ratings and comments for each area. They will select “Competent” or “Focus Area” and enter in “Comments”.

Once all the ratings and comments have been noted, the employee will “save” the document and then “submit”. Employees may start their assessment, save it, and return to it later to complete it.

Next, Manager 1 will receive at notification in Kronos that the employee has completed their self-assessment and it is now ready in the Manager’s To-Do to complete their portion of the evaluation.

Manager 1’s To-Do will look like this. The Manager will click on “Review” to start the process.

Manager 1 will get a screen that looks like the one the employee received. Instructions should be reviewed and then select “Entry” to start the evaluation.

Manager 1 should be able to see the employee’s ratings/comments. The Manager ratings/comments should be added just like the employee process. Be sure to “Save” after each question. Once all are complete, “Save” and “Submit”.

Once submitted, Manager 2 will receive notification that the eveluaiton has been completed. They will go through the To-Do list to review the document and submit the document if all looks acceptable. They may also reject the evaluation which will send it back to Manager 1 for corrections. Notes can be made when submitting the rejected document. When the evaluation is ready to present to the employee, Manager 1 will receive the following notification. They should schedule a meeting with the employee and follow the direction in this notification to complete the goals and fianlize the evaluation.

From the Entry Tab, Manager 1 can add goals and “Save” the evaluation. From the Summary Tab, they will then click on “Comment” (even if there are not any comments to add) to continue to process. Then click on “Submit”.

This will create another To-Do. Click on “Review” and “Submit” to sign and release the evaluation back to the employee for their signature. Once completed by the employee, Manager 2 gets a To-Do to sign and finalize the review.
