Model Release

I, the undersigned (hereafter THE MODEL), have voluntarily agreed to be engaged by Raghib Syed (hereafter THE PHOTOGRAPHER) as a photographic model on [_____________________] (hereafter THE PHOTOSHOOT) in agreement with the terms set forth herein.

THE PHOTOGRAPHER will provide the model with 5-7 edited photographs he takes of THE MODEL during the photoshoot by [_____________________]. The photos given by THE PHOTOGRAPHER may be used, without any alteration (this includes cropping out the Raghib Photography Logo) by THE MODEL for purposes of self-promotion (e.g. Portfolio images, comp card, Facebook, Instagram, etc.), however they may not be sold or used for commercial purposes without the written consent of THE PHOTOGRAPHER. Unedited pictures will be given to THE MODEL if he/she so desires, with the logo intact (logo must remain on all images even on Instagram).

All images taken during the photoshoot are the sole property of THE PHOTOGRAPHER. THE PHOTOGRAPHER makes no representations regarding the quality of the photographs provided to THE MODEL and reserves the right to discard or not provide THE MODEL with the agreed amount of photographs if he deems them unsuitable for any reason, including but not limited to, errors, personal taste or quality. THE PHOTOGRAPHER is not liable for any lost or accidentally damaged images. THE MODEL will provide an email address at the time of the shoot, and the photographs will be provided as digital files by the date previously stated. If an email address is not provided, THE MODEL waives any right to receive the photographs.

I hereby give THE PHOTOGRAPHER the absolute, irrevocable right and permission to copyright and use images of me, in whole or in part, and in all forms and in all media, and in any manner he chooses without restrictions to alterations or changes. I forfeit the right to inspect or approve the photographs THE PHOTOGRAPHER uses. I hold THE PHTOGRAPHER harmless from any liability of any blurring, alterations, optical illusion, or use in any composite form, intentional or otherwise, that may occur while taking the images or any processing done afterwards.

I hereby agree that THE PHOTOGRAPHER owns the copyrights to these photographs, and I hereby waive any claims I may have based on any usage listed above or work derived thereafter.

I hereby warrant that I am 18 years of age as of the date of the photoshoot or if under the age of 18, that authorization has been signed by my parent/guardian who is considered my legal representative henceforth. I have read the above authorization, release and agreement and I am fully aware of the contents. This release shall be binding upon me, my heirs and legal representatives.

These terms are subject to negotiation and alteration however any and all alterations must be initialed and dated by both THE MODEL (or if under 18, their legal representative) and THE PHOTOGRAPHER on a typed and signed copy of the Model Release.
