Our famous choir put the graft in once weekly at The Brink and perform last Tuesday of every month on the Brink stage. There are always plenty of opportunities to perform on the horizon, as

well as opportunities to get in the studio and record – Check out the choir’s first studio cut CD – available at The Brink fot just £1! This is a great way to ‘get involved’ in something brilliant if you

can hold a note or two and enjoy the group focus.

During our time doing it we have discovered so many brilliant poets and speakers. SUSAN FAGAN has stepped in to preside over a night which is exclusively for them. So if you want to get up and speak without the musical accompaniment this night is for you. A thought provoking experience with completely original material played expertly by the fantastic duo that is MOJO STORM.

SATURDAY 13th DECEMBERSANTA’S GROTTO £5 11.00 – 14.00Santa comes to The Brink! If you think your child would like to meet him and receive one of his specially selected toys then come along! Let them also enjoy a delicious hot chocolate drink and ginger bread man which is all part of the amazing experience!

SATURDAY 13th DECEMBER WAX LYRICAL 19.00 – 21.00A joint venture between us and The Open Door Centre, this totally unique event explores various issues within the spectrum of mental health. Every month we invite guests from a different area of investigation and this month it is YOGA & MEDITATION. The evidence for their positive effects on human health is overwhelming. We will be inviting Richard Lockett from BIKRAM YOGA, and Alan Turnock from Kailash Buddhist Centre on The Wirral. As always, this is set amongst some fantastic live performers who will play either side of the discussion. Wax Lyrical caters for all aspects of the mind, and it’s another FREE event!

SUNDAY 14th DECEMBERBEATROOT XMAS SPECIAL! £18 18.00 – 22.00Our Beatroot events have took on a LIFE of their own over this past year with some of the best speakers in the world coming to Brink shores to share their knowledge of all things HEALTH & WELLBEING related. From champion juicers and raw food specialists to holistic health coaches and ambassadors of all things GREEN.This will all culminate in a fantastic RAW, VEGAN & VEGETARIAN BUFFET. Not only that, we have been given prizes by all of our past guests and organisations including Jason Vale, Joe Cross, Angela Beasor, James Colquhon (Food Matters), Rockin Wellness, Obsidian Juices, Chaga King, Begin Within, Fresh Start Health and MANY MORE. These will make up a HUGE GIVEAWAY on the night, no one will go home empty handed! Not only that, opening the show will be the 24 drummers that make up BEATLIFE who will be sure to set things off with a terrific BANG! Tickets are now available at Brink folks!

SATURDAY 20th DECEMBERSANTA’S GROTTO £5 11.00 – 14.00Santa loves The Brink so much he will be visiting us TWICE, so if you missed him the first time today will be your chance to catch him before he does his rounds. £5 will ensure you get to meet and talk to him. Of course he has presents for everyone and you also get a delicious hot chocolate and festive ginger bread man!

TREE OF HOPE 15.00 – 18.00The Brink last year began our very own TREE OF HOPE celebration. The Brink is following in the footsteps of the Recovery Movement in Philadelphia USA, by having a real 10ft Christmas Fir over the festive period adorned with stars containing personalised messages regarding those affected by addiction. There will be guest speakers and of course the star hanging ceremony. Look out for more details including how you can donate for a star and remember or celebrate that special someone.

YOUNG MUSICIANS SHOWCASE 17.00 – 20.00Now that the live music season is well and truly under way, and all our young musicians have hopefully settled in their new academic year in school/college, we and our collaborator DOMINIC DUNN are ready to unveil our next batch of artists bristling with a potent mix of energy, enthusiasm and vitality. The Brink stage has seen some unexpectedly jaw-dropping performances over the last year or so in the Young Musicians Showcase, and we hope to keep that going on this occasion. Again it’s completely FREE. Look out for artist details on our website and social media.

XMAS PARTY 20.00 – 23.00Does exactly what it says on the tin! Our Xmas party will welcome back crowd favourites Terry Furlong & Ste Giddings who will ROCK around our Christmas clock with all your favourite dance classics. Come and bring Christmas in at The Brink with a party to remember!
