Comparativo y superlativo
Algunas excepciones importantes:
-(not) as big as... - (no tan grande como)
-Bigger than... - más grande que // more comfortable than - más cómodo que
Algunos ejemplos:
The beach in Acapulco is (not) as nice as in Brighton - La playa de Acapulco no es tan bonita como la de Brighton
This church is bigger than that one - Esta iglesia es más grande que aquella
This Hotel is more comfortable than this youth hostel - Este hotel es más cómodo que este albergue juvenil
Formula para formar el comparativo.
Sujeto + am, is, are + adj (er) or more + than + sujeto
Formula para formar el superlativo.
Sujeto + am, is, are + the + adj (est) or the most (adjective)
Formula para formar el comparative de igualdad.
Sujeto + am, is, are + as + adjective + as + sujeto

Where? - ¿dónde?
What? -¿qué?
Who? - ¿quién?
Whom? - ¿qué objeto?
Whose? - ¿de quién, a quién?
When? - ¿cuando?
Why? - ¿por qué?
How? - ¿cómo?
How many? - ¿cuántos? ¿cuántas?
How much? - ¿cuánto?
How long?
sujeto: who - ¿quién // verbo: told - dijo // objeto indirecto: you - (a) tí // objeto directo: that news - esas noticias?
Pronombre interrogativo: why - ¿por qué // auxiliar: do - (haces) // sujeto: you - tu // verbo: take - tomas // objeto: the bus? - el autobús?
Pronombre interrogativo: when - ¿cuándo // auxiliar: does - (hace) // sujeto: the boat - el barco // verbo: leaves - sale?
auxiliar: did - ¿(hizo? // sujeto: my brother - mi hermano // verbo: forget -olvidar // objeto: his ticket - su billete?
Y la respuesta sería:
Yes, he did - si lo hizo
No, he didn't - no, no lo hizo

But - pero
If - si
And - y
Although - aunque
That - que
Algunos ejemplos de conjunciones empleados en frases:
I eat fish because I don't like meat - como pescado porque no me gusta la carne
He is really polite, but he's so boring - él es realmente educado, pero tan aburrido
I will play tennis tomorrow if it does not rain - jugaré al tenis mañana si no llueve
This is my son and that is my daughter - éste es mi hijo y ésta es mi hija
He is smaller than his brother although he is two years older - El es más bajo que su hermano, aunque es dos años mayor

LOS NÚMEROS
zero - cero
one - uno
two - dos
three - tres
four - cuatro
five - cinco
six - seis
seven - siete
eight - ocho
nine - nueve
ten - diez
eleven - once
twelve - doce
thirteen - trece
fourteen - catorce
fifteen - quince
sixteen - dieciséis
seventeen - diecisiete
eighteen - dieciocho

thirty - treinta
forty - cuarenta
fifty - cincuenta
sixty - sesenta
seventy - setenta
eighty - ochenta
ninety - noventa
Componer números es así de fácil:
cuarenta y ocho - forty eight
ochenta y dos - eighty two
hundred - cien
thousand - mil
mil quinientos doce - one thousand five hundred twelve
diez mil doscientos - ten thousand two hundred
1º - first
2º - second
3º - third
4º - fourth
5º - fifth
6º - sixth
7º - seventh
8º - eighth
9º - nineth
10º - tenth
11º - eleventh
12º - twelfth
13º - thirteenth
20º - twentieth
21º - twenty first
22º - twenty second
three times - tres veces
five times - cinco veces
Pero existen dos excepciones:
once - una vez
twice - dos veces
I go to the cinema once a week, but I only go to the museum three times a year - Voy al cine una vez por semana, pero sólo voy al museo tres veces al año

Good night! - ¡Buenas noches! (noche cerrada)

I am writing to complain about the bathrooms, I believe that they can be cleaner, if you say the workers to keep them as clean as possible; also they can have some soap and paper. And one of the things that I value is your emphasis trying to making the school a better place.
However, on this occasion I believe that the facts I mention are important.
I would be very interested in knowing your comments regarding the above complaint.
