Week 1 Hello Senior Infants, We hope you are all keeping safe and well and enjoying the lovely sunshine. Remember to make the best of going outside and playing in your garden. Please remember this is only suggestive work outlined for you so don’t feel under any pressure to complete it all. Make sure and send us on some of your lovely art creations or activities that you are doing at home Maths Topic: Length If you don’t have cubes at home you can use concrete materials such as Lego, pasta, and small blocks to solve these problems. Planet Maths pages 104-105 Introduce and explain the term ‘length’ to your child. Ask lots of questions about different objects in the house i.e. which pencil is longer/ which crayon is the shortest etc. In your blue copy record who is the tallest/shortest person in your house. Build two towers using blocks and compare both in height. Using your blue copy go on a maths hunt outside and draw the tallest/shortest tree in your garden, the biggest/smallest stone you can find, the longest/shortest stick.
