INTRODUCTION

1. Nebuchadnezzar's Maniacal Ego (Daniel 3:1-7) Neb's dream goes to his head

2. The Chaldeans' Malicious Envy (Daniel 3:8-12) Envy and Jealousy – the soul of covetousness & the seed of idolatry Nasty people doing nasty things

3. Azariah's, Hananiah's & Mishael's Colossal Courage (Daniel 3:12) Here we stand – ALONE! They could have rationalized a compromise- “Just this once” or “what good can

we do dead?”

4. Azariah's, Hananiah's & Mishael's Complete & Crucial Commitment (Daniel 3:13-18) RESOLVED!!! Even Neb gave them a 2nd chance to compromise; BUT NO

WAY! Where's Daniel? We never see nor hear of these three again!

5. Yahweh's Divine Deliverance (Daniel 3:19-30) Only Neb's ropes were affected by the fire. They passed even the “SMELL

TEST!” NOTE: Neb STILL doesn't personally worship YAHWEH—but he will!!!

6. Yeshua's Amazing Appearance (Daniel 3:24-25) “... and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Jesus, The
