Stephanie Steinberg

My name is Stephanie Steinberg, and I am a sophomore Human Development major from Long Island, New York. I have always had a passion for studying the brain, and have previously conducted research in child developmental psychology at Boston University and New York University. At Cornell, I am a research assistant in the Cornell Infant Studies Lab, studying how children learn to process spatial information to understand the world around them. I volunteer with Big Red Buddies and I am a member of the Pediatric Cancer Awareness Club and Cupcakes for a Cure. I am also a member of Psi Chi, the psychology honor society, and I am a Human Ecology Ambassador. My hobbies include painting (in high school I was Scenic Artist for the dramatic arts program, and helped paint the set in the picture above), reading (my favorite series is Harry Potter), traveling (my favorite trip I’ve ever taken was to London), and spending time with my friends and family. Recently, I’ve become more interested in neuroscience, and in the future I hope to attend graduate school and pursue a career in neuropsychology.
