Capstone Opportunity – KNH 495 Assists the Head Women’s Basketball Coach in the

administration of all aspects of the women's basketball program.

Assist the Assistant Coaches with recruiting duties such as creating mailouts, organizing databases, unofficial & official visits, social media graphics.

Assists in coordination of practice and game preparation. Analysis of analytical data, video, and scouting reports.

Assists in the team travel arrangements; potential opportunity to travel with the team on road contests.

Promote the program in collaboration with our Marketing, Ticketing, and Communication departments.

Assists with the development and maintenance of appropriate alumni relations, fund-raising, community service and promotional activities as necessary.

Eager to learn ins and outs of a college basketball program.

Miami Basketball

Internship for Credit Hour Opportunity – Open to all

- Hours based on schedule – student will receive KNH 340 Internship (1 – 3 credits) based on the number of hours logged during the semester – (possible Winter term)

- Practices are held in the Fall from 8-11am and in the Spring 2-5pm

- Availability at night for games and weekends for practices

Assist with set-up, operations, film, and stats during all

practices.

Assist with on-court basketball workouts and practices.

Assist with all home games and a couple away games

(schedule permitting).

Assist in the office with all day-to-day operations for the

program, including but not limited to: recruiting, marketing,

alumni relations, nutrition, and travel.

Able to complete necessary data entry from recruiting

events and databases. Proficient in basic programs, such as

MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop.

Eager to learn ins and outs of a college basketball program.
