1.4.3 Shop Drawings: Submit shop drawings showing plans, sections, and elevations. Show edge conditions, attachment to other work, profiles and finishes of each metal member, and joinery to other metal members and to adjacent work. Show mounting types, heights, anchorage methods, and attachment devices.

1.4.4 Selection Samples: For each finish product specified, two complete sets of pattern samples representing manufacturer's full range of available finishes and patterns.

1.4.5 Verification Samples: For each finish product specified, two samples, minimum size 3 inches (76 mm) by 4 inches (101 mm) representing actual product, color, finish, and pattern.

1.5 QUALITY ASSURANCE

1.5.1 Mock-Up: Provide a mock-up for evaluation of application workmanship.1.5.1.1 Finish areas designated by Architect.1.5.1.2 Do not proceed with remaining work until workmanship and materials are

approved by Architect.1.5.1.3 Refinish mock-up area as required to produce acceptable work.

1.6 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

1.6.1 Store products in accordance with manufacturer's requirements.

1.6.2 Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging with labels intact until ready for installation.

1.7 PROJECT CONDITIONS

1.7.1 Environmental Requirements: Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits.

scheduled, with texture and reflectivity to match architects sample. Protect with PVC covering. Provide alloy complying with ASTM A240, with standard hardness required for fabrication, strength and durability:

2.2.2 Decorative Metal Panel:2.2.2.1 Panels shall consist of a metal face, core and metal backer. Panels shall be

fabricated with Rigidized adhesive system, 100 percent solids, 0 percent volatiles. No contact adhesives or pinch rollers shall be employed in the panel fabrication.

2.2.2.2 Panel Size: Panels shall be fabricated in sizes up to 46 inches (1168 mm) in width and 120 inches (3048 mm) in length depending upon the metal face employed. 2.2.5 Metal Toilet Compartments:Rigidized stainless steel toilet partitions as supplied by acceptable partition manufacturer.2.2.5.1 Construction: Doors, panels, and pilasters shall be constructed of two sheets of

type 304, #4 finish Rigidized stainless steel with pattern as manufactured by Rigidized Metals Corporation, 658 Ohio Street Buffalo New York 14203 (800) 836-2580 in. Grain to run lengthwise (vertical) for all doors, pilasters, and standard panels up to 60 inches (1524mm) deep. The two Rigidized sheets are laminated under pressure to1/2 inch (12 mm) honeycomb core for impact resistance, rigidity and sound deadening. Formed edges to be welded together and interlocked, under tension, with a roll formed oval crown stainless steel locking bar, mitered, welded and ground smooth at corners or be formed to interlock together to provide a watertight fit without crown molding.

2.2.5.2 Pattern: 5.WL.2.2.5.3 Pattern: 60.LTH.2.2.5.4 Door and Panels: Door and Panel shall be 1 inch (25 mm) thick with a

honeycomb core. Face plates shall not be less than 22 gauge #4 finish 304 stainless steel. 2.2.5.5 Pilasters: Pilasters shall be 1-1/4 inches (32 mm) constructed of 20 gauge #4 finish 304 stainless steel with a sound deadening honeycomb core. Edges shall be welded at intervals around perimeter to insure a rigid unit. Corners shall be welded and ground smooth.

3 EXECUTION

3.1 EXAMINATION

3.1.1 Do not begin installation until substrates have been properly prepared.

3.1.2 If substrate preparation is the responsibility of another installer, notify Architect of unsatisfactory preparation before proceeding.

3.2 PREPARATION

3.2.1 Prepare surfaces using the methods recommended by the manufacturer for achieving the best result for the substrate under the project conditions.

3.3 INSTALLATION

3.3.1 Install in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.

3.3.2 Install ornamental formed metal materials plumb, square, and rigidly coupled and adequately anchored, maintaining uniformed clearances and accurate alignment.

3.3.3 Restore damaged finishes that require field cutting, welding, or grinding.

3.4 PROTECTION

3.4.1 Protect installed products until completion of project.

3.4.2 Touch-up, repair, or replace damaged products before Substantial Completion.

3.4.3 Restore manufacturer's protective films and coverings damaged during installation.
