To describe how plants need water, light and a suitable temperature to grow and stay healthy.Do you remember my plant from page 1?
What do you think happened to it?
Choose 4 things that you would have given the plant to be able to grow and stay healthy.
Try working through all the parts of the online plant growing activities here (label the parts, discover what it needs to grow and choose the best place for it):http://resources.hwb.wales.gov.uk/VTC/plants_light_water_to_grow/eng/Introduction/default.htm
FridayFriday is normally choosing, so here are some ideas for activities linked to our Science this week:1. Do some planting if you can! Use what you know about
plants now to ensure your plant has everything it needs to grow.
You could even try planting some apple seeds by following some of the instructions here if you have time:https://www.wikihow.com/Plant-Apple-Seeds2. You could draw or make a flower
then label the parts. Here’s an example I found:
3. Use the BBC bitesize website to find out more about plantshttps://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zpxnyrd
