Please note, this information will be used as a reference for scheduling but final dates for each residency will be mutually agreed between NEA and selected artists.

Networking and training are also an important element of the Youth Arts Residencies programme. An Introduction & Training session will take place, in addition to three Peer Forum sharing sessions and a final Evaluation session. Artists will be paid an additional fee for attendance at these sessions. Please indicate whether you are available to attend the network

and training sessions provided by NEA and IAP. All sessions will take place between April 2021 and March 2022, with dates mutually agreed with selected applicants.

Are you planning to work with children and young people in the following priority groups? 

All work in the Youth Arts Residencies programme will take place at North Edinburgh Arts, or in the surrounding community of Muirhouse, North Edinburgh. Muirhouse is an area ranked as one of the most deprived wards in the city and the country, in Scottish Index of Multiple Deprivation (www.simd.org 2020). Therefore, this priority group has been pre-selected for all applicants.
