English – Comprehension

Read the Alice in Wonderland extract on the following pages of this document and answer the questions. Again, if you do not have a printer, you can answer the questions neatly in your book.

Foundation – PDL (Personal Development Learning)

See the ‘Wellbeing Wednesday’ sheets attached at the bottom of this document – find an adult to discuss the different topics and complete the sheets with – maybe the adults could share their thoughts and feelings with you too! This is a whole school task so siblings could work together too

If looking for extra ideas, please check out the ‘Home Learning Ideas’ and ‘Extra Activities for Home’ documents which can be found on the Enrichment tab website.

The common exception word lists for each year group can be found on the Home Learning tabs on the website.

This plan is intended for the first two days of any closure and will allow teachers to create learning that is closely tailored to the curriculum the children would be covering if they were still at school.

To contact your teachers, you can email the following class accounts:

[email protected]

[email protected]

[email protected]

You can also contact school and share your work with your teachers via the Class Dojo app – the messages section is where to look!

These accounts will be monitored regularly, however it may take time to reply to each message. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Stay safe, stay happy!

Establishing routines is really important, draw up a plan with your child(ren) for each day so that they can see what work they will be completing when. Children react well to structured routines but these will look different for individual children.

Not all of our children can sit and maintain focus on their learning for an hour at a time. You know your children better than anyone else so build in physical and mental breaks to help them with their learning. A suggested timetable (which you could adapt) was sent out via a weekly newsletter during lockdown and can be viewed below.
