Parent Transaction Overview

Transactor SearchThe parent transaction contains a summary of the entire transaction and it is used to balance your child transactions. It also contains information about the Transactor.

Transactions Tab

Teller defaults to the Transactions tab which is used to process customer transactions.

Each processed transaction will be composed of one Parent transaction and at least one Child transaction.

Searching for a Transactor

The Transactor is the person in the bank. To search for his or her name, simply enter the first 3 or 4 characters of the person’s last name then TAB from the field.

If you do not enter enough characters, the search screen will display as shown below.

To continue with the search simply tab one more time to the […] and press enter to display a list of customers.

Teller 15.1.0 User Training2015

Teller Retains the last search until you are done with the transaction or “Reset” (F2) this area.

In the example below, I had already searched for “BOBBI JO QATRANSITCK” and his information had already populated but now want to search for someone else “Nonc.” To continue with the new search “nonc” simply TAB one more time to the […] and press Enter.

Search Results & Selection

The search results will be displayed in a grid format. You can select desired name using one of the following methods:

TAB to highlighting desired then press enter Click to highlight desired one then click OK Double clicking on desired name.

The customer CIS information will then be displayed immediately under the search field.

IMPORTANTIf the customer name does not exist, the grid will not appear.

Creating a Non CustomerCreating a Non-Customer CIS

To process a transaction, Teller needs a CIS. The information to create the CIS is required ONE time and eliminates the need to ask for the information again the next time the customer comes in the bank.

1- Without entering anything on the name search field click on the [ i ] then check the non-customer box.

2- After clicking on “Non Customer” box, Teller will allow you to print and add the CIS. Click OK to create the CIS after required information has been entered.

IMPORTANTCIS information cannot be altered or updated using Teller. Just like in core, the Social Security number is NOT required if you choose SS Type “N”

Select the corresponding TIN Type. If you are not collecting the non-customer’s SS#, select “N” and leave the TIN# field empty or “O” if Non Resident Alien.
