Jayaraj Annapackiam CSI College of 

Engineering is situated at Nazareth, a semi urban town

in Thoothukudi District. Our institution was started in

the millennium year 2001 by the CSI Diocese with themotto, “Make Technology reachable and affordable to

all”. It is well connected with Tirunelveli & Thoothukudi

by road and rail. Our institution has been approved by

The department of Computer Science &

Engineering was established in the year 2001 with its

dedicated body of well qualified faculty, technical staff 

and blazing students. The department is well equipped

with state of the art laboratories to offer training in front

end and back end technologies in the field of Computer

Science & Engineering.

The purpose of web mining is to develop

methods and systems for discovering models of objects

and processes on the www and web based system that

show adaptive performance. Numerous industrial

applications have shown that models can be constructedfrom data for a wide variety of industrial problems. The

world wide web is an interesting area for Data mining

because huge amount of information is available.

Web mining is extraction of interesting and potentially

useful patterns and implicit information from artifacts or

activity related to the world wide web.

Web security is used to secure and manage

web traffic by filtering web malware threats, blocking

URL’s with inappropriate content and preventing

confidential data loss over web protocols.
