Double click on the TurningPoint icon on the desktop.

You can set TurningPoint to always load whenever you launch PowerPoint if you use the same computer to run software.

Response Device ReceiverBefore You BeginThe receiver must be connected to the machine that will be used to run the presentation.

To install the radio frequency response device receiver…Insert the device receiver into the USB port of the presentation computer. Windows will detect the receiver. Then it will be ready for use.

Channel Setting Instructions for ResponseCard RF

1. Press and release the "CH" button.

2. While the light is flashing red and green, enter the 2 digit channel code (i.e. channel 1 = 01, channel 21 = 21).

Channel is 41

3. After the second digit is entered, Press and release the "CH" button. The light should flash green to confirm.

4. Press and release the "1/A" button. The light should flash amber to confirm.

Basic response devices

ResponseCard RF

There are two types of RF cards. One that includes an LCD screen that provides students with visual confirmation of selected responses and one without the LCD screen.

The XR card Can do self-paced testing. Can be used as a basic clicker. Can be used for homework.

ResponseCard NXT

The new ResponseCard NXT is the newest version of the Turning Technologies cards. It has standard clicker features, as well as provides advanced capabilities such as cell-phone style text entry for short answer and essay questions.

To run a successful presentation, turningpoint must be installed on the computer to be used for the presentations. You also must have the USBresponse device receiver and response devices to enter responses.
