4 SeasonsEvery place in the world has 4 seasons.

Spring comes after winter and

brings all the plants

back to life.

Fall (can also be called

Autumn) comes after summer.

This is when all the leaves fall

of the trees and prepare

for winter.

Summer comes after spring. This is the warm and sunny months of the year.

Winter comes after fall and everything gets covered in cold white snow.

SummerThere are many things to do in the summer. Most people enjoy spending there days outside with family and friends.

Picnics!

Swimming and playing at the beach!

Winter These are the cold months of the year. But there are still a lot of fun things that you can do outside!

Sledding!

Build a snowman!

FallFall is a good time to relax and start dressing warmer. But there are lots of fun activities you can do outside still!

Apple Picking! Jump in

Spring Spring brings a lot of rain. So when you go outside, bring a rain jacket! Here are some things that you can do in the spring!

The SunThe sun is the hottest and largest thing in the universe! It is actually a STAR.

The hottest day in Michigan usually ranges from 80-90 degrees. The sun is 27,000,000 degrees. IMAGINE THAT!

The sun gives energy to every living creature on earth, without the sun nothing could survive.

StormsStorms come in all shapes and sizes. Some are bigger than other and can do a lot more damage than others. There are many different types of storms. Here are a few.

Thunderstorms are the most common type of storms. They usually bring a lot of heavy rain, lightening and loud bangs of thunder.

Rain Rain is most common in the spring. Plants need the rain to survive and some places get more rain than others.

Rainforests get the most rain in the world. That is why they are full of plants and animals!

Rain can be good, but when it rains too much there can be a flood which can be very dangerous.

SnowThe first thing someone thinks of when they hear winter, is snow. The white beauty that blankets the earth for a couple months.

Snow is ice crystals that

form in the clouds then

fall to the earth. And no

snowflake is the same!

When it snows a lot, it is called a blizzard. At times a foot of snow can fall in less than an hour!
