While the teeth on your bucket bear the brunt of impact and break up material, the sections of your bucket lip between the adapters are often left exposed. In high production applications, like quarrying, our weld on lip shrouds really come into their own. These come in 1 metre lengths which can be cut to perfectly fit the space between your adapters, adding vital protection to your bucket and keeping your machine working longer between maintenance periods.

Add an incredibly effective wear resistant material to your bucket equipment or machinery using our range of chocky bars and wear buttons. Made from tough white iron vacuum brazed to a mild steel backing plate, our chocky bars and wear buttons rate at 700 brinell hardness,which makes it extremely resilient to material sliding over the top. The mild steel backing of our chocky bars and wear buttons is perfectly suited to simple welding applications of all metal surfaces, making them an easy-to-apply and effective protective material. These wear parts are perfect for jobs involving sliding abrasion.




The most important criteria for a single bevel edge is to achieve the balance between hardness and weldability. If it’s too hard, you must use a careful pre-heat process on the bucket and the edge prior to welding. If it’s not hard enough, you’ll weld with ease but the new bucket lip will be prone to excessive wear.

So our metallurgists have come up with a special alloy composition which not only rates at 400 Brinell Hardness for excellent wear resistance, but is also readily and easily weldable.

Our single bevel edges are also supplied specially treated against rust and unpainted, so you can concentrate on welding them into position immediately, without the need to sand blast them first.

Used to fill the voids on bucket pickups, hitches and any point on a machine where a steel pin is used at a leverage point. Our hardened shims are essentially “washers on steroids,” designed to help tighten up the “fit” of buckets, hitches and booms on your machine to ensure smooth, clean and efficient operation in the field. Available to fit a huge range of pin diameters for every machine.

PIN REMOVAL

NUTS & BOLTS

Ceramic particles (alumina) mixed in a rapid setting putty which can be applied by hand or trowel to almost any surface to prevent wear. The processed bauxite (ceramic) in Ceramix, makes it the most wear resistant epoxy putty on the market today. Coupled with the fact it’s classed as a non-dangerous good, transporting and handling Ceramix is as easy as it is to apply to any surface. Just beware, once it’s mixed you’ll want to work quickly…you’ve got about 20 minutes before it’s too difficult to work with, and only an hour before you can go back to work.

We make removing pins from teeth just that little bit easier and safer with our pin removal tools to suit machines sizes from your skid steer and mini excavator, to D11 and mining size. Made from hardened, tempered steel with flexible (shock absorbing) steel cable throats, our pin removal tools will become an essential bit of equipment in your truck.

We now make our own grade 10.9 WPA branded plow bolts and nuts which can take a whopping 170,000 PSI of torque to make sure they stay locked down tight. Available to fit every component we sell, right off the shelf, all the time.

You can also use our special range of step down bolts to take advantage of using a thicker or wider edge not normally suited to your machine, giving you the extra wear life you require.
