OBJETIVO
Describir las características epidemiológicas de aquellos pacientes que se desvincularon exitosamente de la VMI en tres UTIs de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.
Secundariamente se establecieron asociaciones entre los tipos de weaning y las variables que influyeron en la evolución de los mismos.
MATERIALES Y MÉTODO
Criterio de inclusiónVMI ≥ 12 hs≥ 18 años
Criterios de desvinculación exitosa de la VMI
Diseño: estudio multicéntrico, descriptivo, prospectivo, longitudinal.
Período: entre el 01/08/13 al 31/01/14.

CONCLUSIÓN
Este estudio nos permitió conocer las características y la evolución de los pacientes sometidos a VMI por más de 12 horas que lograron desvincularse exitosamente en tres terapias intensivas de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.
No establecimos asociación entre mortalidad y tipo de weaning.
La falla de extubación, la TQT y el delirio se asocio con aumento de los días de VMI.
Aumentar el número de pacientes analizados, para establecer asociaciones entre PPC y NAVM con los diferentes
subgrupos de weaning.
