Slide 2 Slide 3 Slide 4 We work with Year 4 and upwards. Initially we deliver general anti-racism workshops, and we build on these with extension workshops which look at specific racisms, such as combating racism towards asylum seekers and refugees, gypsy roma and travellers, and Islamophobia. Slide 5 Slide 6 At the end of the session the young people produce Action plans which detail what they will do to fight against racism. We also leave a copy of the DVD and education pack with the school to enable them to build upon the work that we have undertaken and provide them with information about our national schools competition. Slide 7 The Role of the Media Slide 8 Have you ever got near them? They must really stink! According to the statistics, they only take a bath once a fortnight. They cant make money, they have no jobs at home, so they come over here to mess up our economy and take our jobs. And why is there so much unemployment in their own country? Because theyre a lazy lot, who dont want to work. Well let them be warned, they wont be allowed to live on social security here. Over the last decade there has been a sharp increase in this form of racism. We deliver workshops tackling Islamophobia to pupils from year 7 to 6 th - form. We are not intending to educate about Islam.
