Understanding DSE Regulations & How Our Plan Works.

As part of the Health and Safety (DSE) regulations 1992, it is down to you the employer to ensure the comfort of vision for your employees when using a Display Screen Equipment i.e. computer screen. This includes the employer covering the cost of the sight test.

Our one simple price to control your spend.

With participating opticians, - Its one price- This covers sight test, MCR frame and lenses- Your employee has the option to *upgrade to any frame and lenses in the opticians store.

You always pay one price regardless of whether the employee has

a. Sight Test Onlyb. Sight Test + MCR Safety DSE spectaclesc. Sight Test + *Upgrades to opticians frame with lenses.

* When the employee upgrades to an opticians frame and lenses, the employee will pay the optician directly for the spectacles. Participating optician will provide a discount (Usually 20%) for the upgrade in store. Boots Opticians will give £20 off when employee upgrades to a frame over £90. These discounts are not controlled by MCR Safety and can be changed without notice. Please check in store for details. UK based opticians only.
