1Jo 2:28 And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.

1Jo 3:21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God.

1Jo 4:17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.

1Jo 5:14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

EVIDENCE FOR OUR FAITH IS SURE, 1 Jno. 1:1-4

WE KNOW… (1 John)

We know Christ & are in Christ, 2:3-6 If we keep commands, 3:24; 4:13 This is love, Jno. 14:15; 1 Jno. 5:3 Shows that we know God, 4:7-8 (11) With faith & love…God abides in him

& he in God, 4:15-16 Abide in Christ by practicing

righteousness, 2:28-29 (Jno. 15:4-7)

It is the last hour, 2:18-19 Moment of crisis (many

antichrists) Deny Jesus is the Christ, 2:22-23

False doctrine is against the Father and the Son

We must identify & avoid, 4:1-6

Love is not a life of doubt
